FAQs
How does the buying process work for a half or whole beef?
We make the process SO simple & easy! Just place your deposit online for our half or whole beef order, and one of our team members will reach out to you within 48 hours of deposit placement with your cut sheet (AKA the instruction manual) for how you want your beef processed. We’ll walk you through filling out your cut sheet (if necessary) so you get the exact cuts of delicious beef and the carcass breakdown that you want. Once we receive your finished cut sheet, we will harvest/process your beef within 6-8 weeks and turn it into melt-in-your-mouth steaks, delicious roasts and griller meats - and whatever else you ordered. After that, we’ll reach out with another email for the remaining balance and once paid - coordinate delivery with you to your home to bring you your brand new FREE Freezer and the beef to stock it up with!
Do you have a payment plan?
Yes, we currently use ShopPay which allows you to purchase your half or whole beef shares on a monthly payment plan for as low as 0% interest and up to 12 months of payments! That means you can get your half or whole beef share entirely up front, and make payments monthly for less than $400/Month!
What is the refund policy?
All deposits are non-refundable. It’s important to understand that by reserving your share of our herd your deposit is used to plan the raising and finish-out of the allocated cows for the harvest schedule and prepare for processing. We appreciate your understanding of this and advise that deposits can be transferred to another person if needed. Thank you for trusting us to raise and process your beef. This beef is a true investment into the health of you and your family - and we’re blessed to be able to bring a part of our ranch to your home.
When do I get my beef?
Delivery usually takes about 6 weeks from the time of deposit. However it can take up to 8-10 weeks to receive your order depending on what stage we are at in the harvesting process. The longer lead times are dependent on when the animals are ready to harvest. We will be in touch with an estimated date of delivery.

How do I pay?
Pay the 25% down deposit to reserve your beef share. The remaining balance ($2,250 for the half beef share, $3,750 for the whole beef share) will be due once your beef is ready to be delivered. We will email you with a payment link at that time for you to checkout - and we will deliver your beef directly to your home AND stock your new FREE freezer up for you! You can also contact us if you’d like to pay for your order 100% upfront.
How long will each beef share last me? How do I decide which share to get based on family size?
This is highly dependent on the amount of people in your family and the diet you follow. For MOST families - a half beef share will last 6-8 months and a whole beef share will last up to an ENTIRE year!
How does the meat get delivered? Are the cuts labeled?
All of our beef is processed in a USDA inspected processing facility (that we own and operate we might add!) and vacuum sealed using our top of the line equipment. We process and butcher the beef into smaller cuts, roasts, steaks and ground all individually packaged for you so it’s easy to thaw and prepare. All of our meat comes from beef that is aged 14-21 days for the ultimate flavor experience and is flash frozen upon packaging to make sure you receive the highest quality beef possible!
Why is everything frozen?
Frozen beef (specifically flash frozen beef) is the ultimate way to ensure maximum freshness and longevity for all cuts of beef. By flash freezing, we’re able to deliver the highest quality, freshest beef available that tastes as good as the day it was processed even up to 365 days after sitting in the freezer!
How long can frozen beef last?
Our flash frozen beef can last years in a deep freezer - but for maximum freshness, flavor and texture, we recommend consuming within 1 year.
Why do the shares come with so much Ground Beef and Roasts?
We value the ancestral way of eating and honoring/using ALL parts of the animal. A large majority of the edible pieces of beef are roasts and solid whole muscle parts from the different primals. Any of the trimmings or smaller pieces of meat that cannot be made into steaks or roasts are then ground into ground beef.
Where is your beef from?
We pride ourselves on raising our beef right here in the Heartland! There’s a reason we say “Heartland Raised. Home Delivered.” Unlike grocery store beef that comes from multiple different Countries and one package of ground beef can contain as many as 20 different cows DNA, we know EXACTLY where our beef comes from, how it was raised and what it was fed to ensure your eating the highest quality, best nutrition beef possible for you and your family to enjoy!
What are your animal welfare practices?
As a family farming operation - our animals mean SO much more to us than just a number on a spreadsheet (like factory farms across the World). These animals are raised with respect, love and care that can ONLY come from a family farm - where we understand the sacrifices our animals make to allow us to continue to live and operate the farm. We also practice regenerative farming practices - where our animals are pasture born and raised, with plenty of room to roam and graze freely!
What breed of cows do you raise?
We raise 100% Angus cattle on our farming operation! We truly believe the Angus genetics provide a texture, taste and flavor combination in beef that can’t be beat!
Are your cows raised without the use of GMO’s, Hormones Antibiotics and the mRNA vaccine?
YES, YES, YES and YES!! Our animals are raised without the use of GMO’s, Hormones or Antibiotics - and we would NEVER inject our cows with the mRNA vaccine. Our animals are raised 100% natural - the way ALL animals should be!
How old are the animals you harvest?
We harvest animals anywhere from 18 months to 30 months old, as that is when they reach the prime age for harvesting and processing to provide the highest quality, most tender beef possible!
I’ll be sharing my beef share with my friends. Can you divide the share up for us and deliver?
We can put in a custom request to divide up your share for you and your friends by letting us know how you want your share divided (with the ability to divide up into 4 shares). You will need to decide what cuts everyone gets - and we will separate them. We do however only deliver to one address - or you can pick up from any of our 3 pickup locations:
